We hit it off right away and he had us get all of our docs in order just as we were starting to look at houses. Then our offer was accepted on a Saturday night, and he spent a few hours with us on that Sunday morning to fine tune our financing options and then he locked in a great rate the next day as interest rates started to rise. I have only had transactional relationships with mortgage companies before now and never felt they were working 'for me' before, but am really happy to welcome Dave to a seat at my financial family table, and to call him a friend now. read less

David & Jan were awesome. Being a first time home buyer I was extremely nervous about the entire process. I’m a single woman with a not so great credit history. David took time to make sure I understood the loan and mortgage papers. When I did my signing with the notary he said, “Well, for a first time home buyer you really understand what you are looking at.” I told him I had worked with really good people and that I had asked a lot of questions. Jan never lost her cool with me. When I was stressed or frustrated I would ask, “Now explain what I need to do again.” Jan would just calmly tell me again (for the third time I swear.) I would recommend the team to anyone buying a home and especially someone like me who would describe myself as high maintenance 🙂
