Letter to Active Duty Members and Veterans

Dear Service Members and Veterans,

 

Your service keeps our land free, peaceful, and prosperous.

And when it comes to buying a house and putting down roots…

Your service also gives you some incredible advantages.

But before I get to that, let me explain why I’m writing this.

My respect and gratitude for your service is a personal thing. I come from a line of veterans—like my father, who fought in the Vietnam War.

He was fortunate enough to return alive and well. But there was no hero’s welcome. Quite the opposite, actually. He and his peers found themselves in the middle of an America that was torn, conflicted, and downright ungrateful.

It hurt to see him subjected to all that contempt.

Yet through it all, Dad remained an unwavering patriot. When the rubber met the road, he showed me what dedication and steadfastness looked like. So, even though I’d chosen civilian life, I realized I must use my own vocation to support other veterans and service members.

Fast-forward to today. I’ve now spent decades in the mortgage business, navigating the incredible but complex opportunities around VA lending.
